Stopping smoking

There are so many benefits to stopping smoking for you and the people around you.

What would encourage you to quit smoking?

Going smoke-free is the single best thing you can do to improve your health and quality of life.

Think of the money you could save (and spend). As an example, a person who smokes 20 cigarettes a day would save over £3,000 per year. Do you know how much your smoking habit is costing you? Use the Cost Calculator to see how much you’ve spent – and you’ll see just how much you can save.

Support we provide

The NHS Highland Smoke-Free Service provides a range of support options to suit everyone who is motivated to quit or cut down:

We have a number of in-person clinics across Highland. Telephone, video call, text messaging or e-mail support is also available depending on your preference and where you stay, and home visits for the house-bound can be arranged (in certain areas).

You are three times more likely to stop smoking successfully if you use an NHS specialist service than quitting on your own. Is this your time to go smoke free?
